Emily introduces Deirdre to Jean Meredith whose son Sean has Retinopathy of Pre-maturity and unless he\'s treated he will lose his sight for good. He can only have treatment in America and Emily and the Friends of Weatherfield Hospital have launched an appeal. Emily asks Deirdre for the Council\'s help.
