_DESCRIPTION_:
The Marvels, film diretto da Nia DaCosta, è il sequel di Captain Marvel e vede l'eroina Carol Danvers/Captain Marvel (Brie Larson) fronteggiare una nuova minaccia, anche se questa volta non sarà sola. Accanto a lei, infatti, ci saranno altri supereroi pronti ad affrontare i villains.
Dopo aver recuperato la sua identità, sottrattale dai tirannici Kree ed essersi vendicata della Suprema Intelligenza, Carol deve occuparsi di un universo destabilizzato, essendo l'unica che può farsi carico di questo grande e impegnativo compito. Quando si imbatte in un wormhole, collegato a un rivoluzionario Kree, si rende conto che i suoi poteri da Captain Marvel sono intrecciati a quelli dell'adolescente Kamala Khan (Iman Vellani), sua grande fan, e a quelli del capitano Monica Rambeau (Teyonah Parris), nipote di Carol e astronauta S.A.B.E.R..
Il trio dovrà formare una squadra, The Marvels, e collaborare per imparare a lavorare in sinergia, unendo i loro poteri di luce, per salvare l'universo intero da una perfida Kree e dal suo esercito.
